What is the Welsh Canal Trail?
The Welsh Canal trail is a great, traditional family outing, taking in the beautiful Welsh countryside, with the opportunity to meet and feed the local animals in the farm petting zoo. With a canal boat trip over the highest aquaduct in Britain and family picnic included, we cant think of a better way to spend a summers day!
How does it work?
Once you arrive at your start point you will be issued with a map of your route and all the information you will need about your day. You will also be given your picnic (including all cutlery and plates) inside a picnic rucksack for easy carrying, approved animal feed and a time for your booking on your canal boat ride.
How long is the activity?
On average, the day out lasts around 4 hours, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the various activities on your day out!
Anything I need to bring?
Most things are provided, including all your picinic equipment, food, transport to and from your day, animal food and other sundry items. You will want to wear a sturdy pair of shoes for the walk and coats on colder days.
