What are Stone Carving Workshops?
The Stone Carving Workshops are a great activity idea for those wanting something creative, active and a bit different. Whilst not as strenuous as some of our other activities, stone carving is a great way to spend a day with the added bonus of taking away your self crafted masterpiece at the end!
How does it work?
When you arrive, you'll get a quick run through of the various tools and techniques you will be using during the day and then promptly started on creating your very own stone sculpture! The instructor, Andy, will be on hand throughout the day providing individual guidance as you sculpt your stone and come up with your own designs and ideas as you progress.
No previous experience is necessary, and with the close proximity, the hard work and creativity required to create your sculpture, its a great team building group activity as well as a great experience for the individual.
How long is the activity?
The Stone Carving Workshops are (depending on your choice) a full day activity or full weekend activity. You'll be simply amazed at how quickly the time flys!
Anything I need to bring?
All the required safety gear and tools are included, just make sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty! As it is at least a full day activity, you're advised to bring a packed lunch. (A pub lunch can be arranged for a small additional fee).
